You are human. You have one you, the same twenty-four hours in a day and the same need for sleep and nutrition as every other human. You are powerful as fuck and can do whatever you want to, but one major life goal at a time- and I'm talking to both of us.

Over the past two weeks, I have gone through so many paths and taken so many different forks in the road that I got lost. I soon ended up at an inevitable cross roads between all of the things that I was trying to simultaneously pursue. So, I made up my mind. I am going to focus all of my energy on writing my book and writing for my blog. I have spent far too much time neglecting this passion and have realized that I will never be satisfied with pushing this aside. Writing is my calling, my pride and joy. It's the one thing that has repeatedly shown itself to me ever since I learned how to craft letters, words and sentences. Why is my realization relevant to you?

You too have a passion, whether you've found it or not. We all are meant to do something amazing with our lives- but we get distracted. I personally was trying to become a writer, trainer and marketer all at the same time and eventually I lost motivation to do any of it.

"Procrastination is one of the most popular forms of self sabotage because it's really easy." - Jen Sincero

It's one thing to be open to new experiences and new opportunities, but it's another to run around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to make every opportunity into a commitment. I mean, think about it- what effort are you going to be able to put into several different projects/career paths? The answer: Not your best.

The key to success is to take a path and run through, madly in love with it. Whether this be a path that you come upon randomly or one that you mistakenly passed- your true happiness and satisfaction all depends on whether or not you make the decision, you take the path and do what you were fucking meant to do. Put hobbies aside for a bit so that you can jump-start and prioritize the one thing that makes you feel most empowered.

Stop making excuses and start making decisions. This is your life that you're bartering with.
